Technical Explanation
Preparation: Ready-to-Press Pouch
Puck Mold: Flower
- Place a pre-cut, trapezoid shape parchment paper into mold.
- Weigh Material
- Fill mold with material
- Place a pre-cut, trapezoid shape parchment paper on top of material.
- Compress male mold onto material to a 1/4” (.250”) for a calculated thickness.
- Flip entire mold over, remove bottom piece, push down sidewalls, remove puck from mold.
- Flip Rosin Bag inside-out.
- Slide flower puck mold into rosin bag.
Puck Mold: Hash
- Flip Rosin Bag inside-out.
- Weigh Material
- Fill bag, folding bag over 1.5” to enclose the top of bag. Evenly spread out material while holding bag closed. Use gloved hands to compress hash flat and even.
- Flip Double bag inside out: Fold bag over and insert
- Place between parchment sheets, Adjust temperature to 90-110
- Degree, and compress with pre-press mold. to pre-melt and evenly flatten to a calculate thickness.
Parchment Paper Pouch: Access Rosin® provides the parchment paper in half folded sheets, or 100% folded QDF pouch.
- Ready to process pouch
Open one side of the pouch, and slide the rosin bag with material into the pouch.
Push rosin bag to the back of the pouch.
- Do not agitate the corners after pouch folds are finished. This may cause an unrecognizable hole in the pouch where rosin flows, which may cause rosin to flow out of the back of pouch.
